All orders over $50.00 require a minimum deposit of 50% at the time of ordering or 2 weeks prior to your event date. If we provide special/personalized decorations specifically for your order, your deposit will be increased to cover the additional cost of personalized items/decorations.
50% deposit is required for all Wedding Orders a minimum of 4 weeks prior to your wedding date and the full amount due 2 weeks prior to your wedding date.
-The deposit is non-refundable within 2 weeks of your event date.
-A receipt is required for all refunds.
-Delivery Fee is non-refundable after delivery has been made.
-Designs must be finalized within 1 week of your event date. Some restrictions may apply if fondant components have been started.
-Flavors must be finalized within 72 hours of your event date. Some restrictions may apply if ingredients have already been purchased.
Refunds/Store Credit:
-Once you or a designated party has picked up an order and signed for it, we relinquish responsibility for the order. We will ask to make sure that everything is correct such as the design, spelling, etc. Refunds requested after your order has been signed for will not be honored. In some cases you may bring the cake back in for design adjustments; however, additional charges may apply.
-No refunds will be given after your order has been picked up/delivered.
-Cake flavor and texture is subjective. We make everything from scratch and bake to order. Full refunds requested due to flavor or texture will not be honored. You may qualify for a partial refund of the total amount paid in the form of store credit if the product is brought back and the quality of the flavor or texture is determined to not meet our standards. Cakes must be brought back to us within 24 hours of pick up/delivery – please call or email us promptly to let us know of the issue. Quality determination is at the sole discretion of The Flour Shop Bakery. Please understand that we cannot issue refunds for cakes that are not returned to us. Amount of store credit is based on the amount of the product returned to us and what we determine the quality to be. Store credit of any kind will not be issued if you do not contact us in person, by phone or email within 24 hours of pick up/delivery.
-All products are the responsibility of the customer once you pick up your order from our shop. We are not responsible for any damage that occurs during transport or set up. You will be given instructions on how to carry, transport, and store your cake upon pick up. Keep in mind that cakes are very fragile and damages can happen if not handled properly – such as cracks, smudges, melted frosting, etc.
